I genuinely love make up. I spent the best part of my twenties owning concealer and mascara and avoiding all the other goodies. To be honest I was scared of make up and wary of the salespeople behind the counters. I didn't want to make expensive mistakes buying the wrong products I didn't know how to use so I favoured a very natural look.
Having the opportunity to sit down with Jo Malone, one of the most successful entrepreneurs responsible for revolutionising the beauty industry, marked a personal career highlight. Globally recognised for building the beauty brand eponymous with her name she is now creating Jo Loves.
Over the weekend a really special moment took place... I found 'the' dress! It's really only now sinking in, even though there has been months of planning, booking venues, paying deposits and organising, that we are getting married next May.
In terms of treatments I have to be honest and say that during my time as a beauty contributor and writer for Social and Personal I experienced a lot. Plenty were brilliant (and nearly all enjoyable) but some treatments were overrated.
I have always been a fan of natural beauty products but ever since changing my diet I’ve become much more conscious of being more consistently vigilant in ensuring products I use (and promote) are cruelty free but also effective.
