The day these pictures were shot it wouldn't stop raining. Every time I looked out the window it was still lashing down. At times like this you feel it's safe to cancel plans, just be lazy and cuddle back under the duvet and watch yet more Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Eventually though, about 4 PM, the skies cleared. I contemplated not bothering but with a little encouragement from himself I got into my look, and did my hair and make up. Suddenly things felt better. That's the thing about clothes. They can lift you out of a Sunday slump in a minute.
When it comes to finding yourself on a winding country road you don't imagine a floaty skirt, sparkly heels and a crop top but that's exactly why I chose it.
I love this skirt. It's like a cloud and one of the nicest things I've ever bought from H&M.
We drove along the gorgeous country road. He said he knew where was just right to shoot the pictures. Standing in the middle of the road I felt like someone who had got lost on the way home from a wedding but also like it was a pretty special place to be.
There's a word for people who love cats, it's a felinophile, I think I might well be one of them. I thought a cat bag injected a bit of humour into the look.
Post rain cloud lush-ness.
