I got hair extensions a few years ago after I decided a horrendously short bob was for me. The bob was not for me, and would't have looked good on anyone bar Alexa Chung. After six weeks or so of torture I looked into hair extensions and over the course of 2 years until it grew out had 3 sets of them applied. By the end of that period of time my hair had grown and I had learned, the hard way, what makes good extensions and what to avoid.

A few years on my hair was now long but not as thick as I would like it to be so I decided to get extensions in, more for volume and texture than length.

I opted to go for Gold Fever Hair Extensions from Hession Hairdressers in Clontarf and am so happy with the result. The Colour is matched just the way I wanted it to be and I was done within 3 hours.

I want my hair to look undone, and like it has a life of it's own. I think people associate extensions with the whole Essex wag type look but my experience is so far from that.
