I've always been a fan of life's little luxuries and receiving flowers is one of those things that makes me so ridiculously happy.

I will add that at times I have received flowers and found them going off within a few days and also (and I'm being very honest here) lacking style.

To solve all that Bloom and Wild Flower Delivery was established in September 2013 by entrepreneurs Aron Gelbard and Ben Stanway and has gone on to be the top rated online florist in the UK. In under a minute from their app or website you can order flowers to someone's door - and no need to worry if they are not there - they fit through the letterbox. They now deliver to Ireland and will be a game changer in the market.

The letterbox concept is kind of a genius innovation. If you have no idea will someone be in, their delivery easily fits through their letterbox, so they still arrive fresh and on the day rather than having to pay for delivery again or them being potentially damaged by being left outside.

Upon opening the box you assemble them yourself -don't worry - there's instructions. The flowers arrive netted and in bud so they are really fresh ensuring they will last at least 10 days.

I got two vases out of my Letterbox - The Harper option. Alternatively you can go for the hand tied ones. I chose  The Ophelia  as I love all the pastel pinks, lilac and cream.

For me what sets these flowers apart is that they are fashion forward and each season there are new collections. Key trends for the autumn include bright oranges, blues and varying soft floral textures with materials such as wheat and kangaroo paw.

With backgrounds in floristry and fashion to beauty and interiors the team plan and launch bouquets at pace with other major fashion brands using trends and social media data to create up-to-date fresh modern flowers that surprisingly, given how amazing they are, are quite competitively priced starting at €24.

They even have the chicest mini Christmas trees on the site at the moment. Honestly I have never seen anything sweeter! As the flowers come from the UK you need to allow at least 48 hours but if someone has a birthday or there's an anniversay and you know a little in advance when you would like them to arrive - I don't know of anything more tasteful or beautiful than a Bloom and Wild Bouquet.

Starting from €24 plus P&P flowers can be ordered at www.bloomandwild.com or via the Bloom and Wild Flower Delivery app.

I hope you enjoyed this post. You'll be pleased to hear well over a week since they arrived my flowers are still beautiful!

Also - if you sign up to their newsletter you get 10% off your first order.

Till next week,

Lots of love,
