I really don't want to be that person who says it first but I think Autumn is well and truly on it's way. This year I didn't feel like we had much of a Summer and I'm pretty thankful I didn't buy many Summer pieces. Winter in Ireland is a failsafe time to shop. Whatever you choose to buy will be in high rotation. My style is kind of always the same. I like really strong basics and whether things are a bit more expensive, or a great sale find, I rarely stray from this.
Nothing feels more comfortable than a gorgeous cozy jumper and when I saw this a few months back at a Penney's press day I knew I would be investing in it. I love knitwear but it can be extremely expensive. Thankfully this piece is a very reasonable and what I love about it is the proportions are perfect. Being tall I always notice when a brand scrimps on that tiny bit of extra length but those details are all here. You can wear it a little off the shoulder or else the V-neck comes down low which I loved. It keep it a little more glam!
Photographing this during London fashion week there was a bit of a warm spell and I went for bare legs but this whole look could be warmed up by simply adding tights. Lastly can we take a moment to admire these shoes! They are incredible. They've a low enough heel which I like for practical reasons. Silver is also so universal and should you choose to pick these up they will be in high rotation in your wardrobe I am sure!
I also loved super soft grey jumper and a metallic silver. The silver is very reminiscent of the Spice Girls! As I am looking outside right now the rain is pouring down. Winter is definitely on it's way bit hopefully with some cozy knitwear you can be stylishly prepared!
Hope you're all set for a lovely weekend!
