Last week I was invited over to a blogger event in London. I find London style is far more paired back and I wanted something simple as it was an early (5 am) start but also elegant and a little different. is a new Irish online store specialising in basics with a nod to the trends and I was so delighted when then asked me to collaborate. I chose this dress because I love when a dress has sleeves as you don't need to worry about finding the right cardigan or coverage to pair with it. The keyhole detail at the back adds a little bit of glamour to it as well. They offer free delivery and also free returns which is reassuring, especially with a new business. Thankfully I was delighted with it and loved wearing it to the event.

The event itself held in Locke Living was stunning and I will do a separate post on it. I loved meeting all the London bloggers. I wanted to do a quick shoot with this dress to show you properly so I had to leave a little earlier to meet Andrew's sister Debbie Castro who is a fabulous photographer.  We shot this look around Liverpool Street after tea in Planet Organic.

When I was a student nearly a decade ago so much of that area was undeveloped and it's incredible to see how much it's all changed. I read an expression lately that resonates with me a lot. 'The best time to start was five years ago, the second best time is now'

I really wish I'd jumped into blogging five years ago but I am glad I'm doing it now. I am loving being in control of my schedule and creating the kind of imagery and work I adore. I'm also enjoying interacting with you all so much too!

As I knew a lot of walking was on the agenda I wore this dress with a jewelled pair of flats also from but I think it would look gorgeous with a black pair of sandals or court shoes. I am usually between sizes but I went up and got the 7 and they were perfect, so go up a size if you're not sure.

For office wear you could put a blazer on top of the dress which would conceal the detail on the back. It also has pockets which I love!

I'm now back home and it's so cold outside. Andrew is on his Stag so I am spending today catching up on content as tomorrow I am going shopping with my mum for wedding shoes! All very exciting.

I hope you all have a gorgeous weekend!

Lots of love,
